Pre-authorized payment
I have pre-authorized payments set up on my account but I'd like to pay my bill early to get it out of the way. Can I do this or will it still take out the charge on the regular day so I'd end up paying double?

Typically, the pre-authorized payment will be charged on the specified date. If you pay your bill in advance, there is a chance that the provider's system will still perform an automatic debit on the specified date, even if you have already paid the bill manually.
- JR2NeighbourOk thanks for the info. I'll just wait until it takes it out then.
- xrayHeroIf you make a payment after the statement is issued then the pre authorized payment won't know about it. The pre authorized payment triggers about a week before the due date anyway so it's already early.
