In January we were provided a new contract for our home services at a great rate. This rate was arbitrarily changed by almost 100.00 more without any notice to us by Telus. After being on the phone with loyalty agents yesterday I was told that the original offer was for employees only and so not applicable to us! Fine, no one let us know and we had no opportunity to negotiate until we discovered this change 2 months later. Seems to me that a contract needs to be honoured. What other business makes these arbitrary changes like that?
Yet, it’s impossible to issue a formal complaint or speak to a manager about our experience. We have been with Telus for 40 years and it seems that customer service has deteriorated.
