Account and Phone Number Disabled
Hello, I initially set up my account/sim card on a pay as you go plan. My account and phone number are now inactive and I would really appreciate some help activating them again. In my account I am unable to add or view payment methods, any account details, or plans. Each tab is either blank or displays 'Sorry, you are not authorized to access this information.'. I'm very lost, I have tried for weeks to update my payment method but the website does not accept any of my bank cards or says there was an error try again later. I have tried calling but the ai cant help as the account and number are currently inactive. Asking for a friend. Friend is also a Telus mobility customer. If they are under a shared/family plan and they are not the main "account holder" can they still cancel their plan w/out the main account holder? So they can open their own personal separate individual account with Telus? They are under no contract and is pay as you go month-to-month. I am unable to uninstall the My Telus app from my Samsung G23. It has not functioned since Nov 2025 when I added it. I go to log in, correct login and password, and app goes back to log in page. I log in again, and same loop. I try to uninstall, and our won't allow. Have tried from Google, tried from phone settings. Searched and followed institutions online: disabled, cleared cache, shut down. I install it again, even though it's still on phone, update to latest version, nothing works. I have a telus loyality reward of being able to recieve several free one day roaming passes. Can I group them together to use on the trip? Every time the device sleeps it disconnects from cellular. Sometimes it reconnects mostly it doesn't, and it needs to be restarted to connect again. It says that there is not APN but every time I try to add an APN it says "Mobile data isn't working properly. Try again later." This has been an absolute pain. I currently have a public mobile phone plan (they are owned by Telus) I received a promo offer from Telus through my public mobility email. I go to use the promo on-line, and Telus keeps telling me that it is an invalid number (it is an active promo) If I sign into my Telus internet account, it keeps telling me that I don't have a cell phone account with them (I know). And won't allow me to proceed. When I try to go on-line as a new customer, it won't accept the promo code and tells me that it is invalid. When I phoned in as an existing customer, they told me they had to transfer me to retention???, after 20 minutes on hold, I hung up. Restoration Lands is the owner and developer of the Okanagan Industrial Eco Park in Beautiful Lavington BC . Because of the location of the Tower that serves this area, the 445,000 Sq.' We have been trying to contact Telus for years to see about a Micro tower to boost signal in our area. Cellular service is not a luxury, it is necessary for commerce, safety, security and could be a serious matter if contacting emergency officials in the event of an incident. Restoration Lands Inc. has invested heavily and has just completed infrastructure in Partnership with Telus to install Fiber along Learmouth road and our industrial park. RLI's goal; is to see 1000 jobs on this site when it is fully built out. We know that all of the companies and employees, as well as all of the neighbors will benefit from improved services as the existing tower is blocked by a hill, which is the culprit from the poor network. I ordered a new device (iPhone 17) via the TELUS Webstore, over a month ago. The courier "lost" the phone and TELUS refuses to send out a replacement, citing "policy" that they have to complete an investigation first. I've had countless emails and discussions with the Webstore, with no resolution in sight. They promised a manager call-back...that never happened. It's all just a lot of hot air and no action. I am having issues activating my new Discovery+ app on Apple TV. I received the activate email from Telus. I clicked on activate and then directed to the Discovery+ webpage to log in. When I put in my credentials, I get directed to a payment page to activate Discovery+. I have been going back and forth with Tech support and while they have offered good suggestions, I am now into day 2 and still no resolution. They told me that my Telus credentials should be automatically recognized and be able to stream.
