So I got a Galaxy S10e and a plan with the Bring it Back program that allows me to pay a reduced amount every month so long as I return the phone after the contract period.
One of the conditions for the phone is that it can't have a cracked screen.
I dropped my phone and the screen got cracked. I have 4 months left on my contract.
My options are:
- pay $250 to get it replaced (with TELUS Device Care), and then return it and get a newer model with the Bring it Back program,
- live with the cracked screen for four months, pay the $130, keep the phone and get a newer model (and try again with Bring it Back)
- pay the $130, upgrade now to a newer model (and try again with Bring it Back), and keep the phone
Option 3 is the most appealing to me, but I don't know if I can cancel the Bring it Back program and upgrade my phone while staying on the same contract.
Any thought?
