I have spent more then 10 hours dealing with Telus and no one can fix this issue. Every time i go to login into the app it says its not linked or set up but it is. No one has a clue how to fix it and I have literally done everything. Like thanks for wasting my money on a service none of you know anything about.mfilo1 hour agoNeighbour36Views0likes3Commentsottawa purefibre and ipv6
Hello, I am in Ottawa and am thinking of getting purefibre. Right now with Bell, I have a public ipv4 address and no ipv6. Am I correct in assuming that purefibre include cgnat and ipv6 with a PD of /56? Also, if I want a public ipv4, is this possible? Thanks28Views0likes2CommentsBoost Wi-Fi 7 Admin Password
I don't know why the default password on my Boost Wi-Fi 7 would not work.aoayoola2 hours agoNeighbour21Views0likes2CommentsCGNAT Removal and Public IP Address Assignment, Is This Still Possible?
Hello and Happy New Year. I recently moved and am now managing my own TELUS Fibre connection directly. I am trying to resume hosting small game servers and other self-hosted services that require inbound IPv4 access. I have the Technicolor NH20T Network Hub installed and have configured IPv4 port forwarding and firewall rules correctly. However my WAN IPv4 address is 100.84.x.x which appears to indicate CGNAT. As expected inbound IPv4 connections cannot reach my network. I have contacted TELUS multiple times. One representative confirmed this would require backend provisioning changes and issued a reference number. I later received automated issue resolved messages but no change was applied. A follow-up representative suggested upgrading to a business plan. I clarified that I do not need a static IP or special IPv6 features only a public non-CGNAT IPv4 address. That ticket has now been escalated again to backend provisioning. My questions are as follows. In 2026 can residential TELUS Fibre customers still be assigned a public IPv4 address to allow inbound IPv4 services and port forwarding, or is a business plan now required? If CGNAT removal is not available on residential accounts is there any supported residential option remaining? I understand that bridge mode or third-party routers do not bypass CGNAT as this is a WAN provisioning issue. Older threads exist on this topic but many are several months old so I am looking for updated information. Thank you in advance.Solved477Views0likes10CommentsI cannot connect to stockhouse.com
I have cleared cache, deleted browser data, restarted the router and my laptop, flushed my dns however cannot connect to stockhouse.com when on my home network from any device (telephone, tablet, laptop, desktop pc). However when I disable my wifi and use my cell data it connects. Also when I am on a different provider (Rogers) at the coffee shop no problem. Please advise what might be the problem.Solvedb4ufreak2 hours agoFriendly Neighbour348Views0likes13CommentsMultiple Telus Wifi Boost 7 setup
I got upgraded to new Telus setup with NAH and Wifi Boost 7 booster. Everything is working great except that my 2nd Wifi boost 7 wont work. Its connecting fine and forms a mesh network with the Primary but none of my wireless devices will connect to it. I have tried multiple ways of connecting: Primary-boost and Secondary-boost connected to NAH. Both boost-7 are green and show excellent connectivity and zero issues. Primary-boost connected to NAH and Secondary-boost connected to Primary-boost 2.5G port. Both are green and show excellent connectivity and zero issues. However, none of my laptops, phones, tablets, other IOT devices will connect to the secondary-boost. I called Telus and this is what i am told Telus has upgraded their systems which does not allow them to add a 2nd boost-7 devices for their customers anymore. so if the customer has 2x Telus-Wifi-Boost-7 and even if they form a mesh network and are green, the 2nd one wont work. Customers are now being pushed to use Telus Wifi Plus to get better coverage and pay $10/month for that service. Very disappointed in this. See screenshot of my connectivity below.Telus TV+ channel guide keeps switching to "all channels"
I'm experiencing an issue with my Telus TV+ channel guide. The filter and sort settings keep reverting to “All channels,” even though I had selected “My favourite channels.” While the TV is on, the guide correctly shows “My favourite channels” after I select it. However, after turning the TV off and then back on later, the guide has reset to show “All channels.” I’ve restarted both of my digital boxes, but that didn’t resolve the issue. This has been happening for several days. Is this an issue for anyone else?1.3KViews7likes31CommentsTelus Wifi Boost 7 - Can't Change SSID/Password without settings reverting
Hi All, I just upgraded to the 3G XGSPON plan and was provided an NH20A and a Telus Wifi Boost 7. Everything works, but I want to change the SSID and password to my old network so all of my old devices auto connect. I am connecting to it through the web GUI, and whenever I change the SSID and password, it changes and all of my old devices connect. However, if I go back to the web GUI or the Telus Connect app, it shows the default SSID. Any changes I then make in the web GUI reverts the SSID back to the default settings. A power cycle also resets everything back to default settings. If I try and change the SSID/Password in the Telus Connect app, it immediately says "Unable to change Wifi-Name, Please try again". Enabling the Guest network and changing the guest network SSID/Password works and the settings persist. Note that I am using another router on the 10G port and bridging only that port. I want to use the Telus boost 7 purely for IOT devices on the 2.4ghz channel, but I can't even disable 5ghz/6ghz as no settings are being applied. Thanks in advance!13Views0likes0Comments
