Crave says not subscribed
I have called 10 times now trying to get my crave to work. No one in tech support seems to be able to solve my issue. I have a crave account but when I log in mobile, web, or even in the tv itself it says I don’t have a subscription even though I am paying. Techs have removed and the added, tried to trigger an email that always says pending, then never call me back. Hi, I have the new digital box and even though I have the settings for screen saver set to “never” and for power and energy I have both inactive and watching set to “never” it still insists on checking in after a few hours to see if “I am still here” and then goes goes into what I assume is screen saver. Highly annoying as I love my Naturescape channel on the weekend as I am doing housework and reading. I leave it on the channel for most of the day to provide nice relaxing ambiance. What other settings need to be changed so it doesn’t do this? I see, checking the Forum, that this issue has occurred before. I am trying to remove a channel from my account (I'll likely be adding another to replace it). When I navigate to the online section of this bizarre site I get the following message below. (I have been trying for 2 days from my phone and my desktop!) The solution given in the past was to contact customer support. Obviously the person that wrote this "Solution" has NEVER TRIED CONTACTING CUSTOMER SUPPORT! I have multiple times opened settings, turned on closed captions, opened display settings and set caption preferences the way I would like: small font, 25% opacity on background. The example shown in settings would be perfect, IF the settings were applied when returning to live TV. Default of large font, white font on opaque black background interferes with decent program viewing. How to get the captions settings as set to apply to live TV? Is this a feature still under development? If so when will this be rolled out? Last year I had a problem with my Telus copper wired TV not connecting to the internet. After a few months the 2nd Technician solved the problem which was the original Boxes were refurbished & no longer would connect. With 2 new ( not refurbished ) boxes it worked as it should. Well the problem is happening again. Turn on TV screen shows HDMI 1 that’s good. Then the screen shows the Telus TV screen then the QR code shows up with Check tv connection change HDMI SETTINGS. Then the tv shows Android, Google symbol flashing, tv box blinking white, remote blinking green, TV connects, message at bottom of screen reads remote connected, next it reads Active internet connection. Now I don’t know why the tv now takes all these individual steps to connect when all these steps used to connect immediately. In October 2024 we found water leaking through the outside and inside of the utilities conduit from across the road. Called Telus and spent 2 hours on the phone explaining what was happening, sent videos and pictures. They said they would send someone and when they arrived, the technician thought they were installing internet!!! After it was determined that it was not their fault. Called Hydro, they said it wasn’t their issue, called the city, no help.. flash forward to December 2025, water was still coming through but would stop when it wasn’t raining. Called the city again and got a wonderful person who sent their guys and determined that it was coming from a broken, improperly installed Telus vault. The city also put pressure on Telus to take responsibility and fix it. Well now the water has stopped coming into the garage, so far, but we now found water damage in our basement under where the leak was. I’m traveling internationally due to personal reasons and cannot return to Canada until a couple months. So my rental home now has a new tenant who seemed to have activated a new Telus home service. Telus without any intimation deactivated my account and sent me an email to return equipment. I need to be able to use the Telus internet when I get back and don’t mind paying monthly charges towards service although I’m not using . Now Telus says it will slap a fee up to $300 if I don’t return the equipment and that concerns me since I cannot travel to Canada immediately. I need help! Hi, I was checking my credit score and noticed that Telus had said that I owed money for a home services bill that was canceled over a year and a half ago and sent it straight to collections.
