Someone else is watching on my account
This past summer we had a number of movies be purchased on our demand and TV shows that neither my partner and I were watching show up on our watch history. We contacted Telus they removed all of the charges and we added a purchase pin to our account and parental control as well. We changed the account password too. This past week we’ve noticed that there are TV shows that neither of us have watched up here again on our account and this week they decided to rent Lilo and stitch which appeared on our bill this month. I have tried to contact Telus all evening and have been on hold for well over an hour. Does anyone have any advice? We also changed our account password when we first saw unknown shows, but there are still new shows today on my on demand.76Views0likes5Comments3Gbps service to 6Mbps and no support
This afternoon my internet seemed to die. Rebooted the router. Haven’t had to do this ever thought it should be fine. Thing’s were not better after the reboot. Did a speed test from computer directly connected to the router. 6Mbps down less than 1Mbps up. On Fiber???? Tried to get support. Was told I’d get a call back in 25 minutes. Hours went by. Sent another request after jumping through all the Ai support hoops. Hours went by no assistance. Asked the chat bot for chat with human support. It took me to the contact page where that chat function takes me back to the useless AI assistant. So many rogers reps come to my door. Going to inquire and if compatible. Maybe make the switch. I have my PVR set to record Brilliant Minds on City TV every Monday night. There was no recording from October 27 so assumed that a new episode did not air that night. Noticed that it is not scheduled to be recorded tonight either. Looked at Telus Guide and see that City TV has two back-to-back "NEW* episodes of Hudson & Rex scheduled tonight. Wondering if one of those is supposed to be the new episode 7 of Brilliant Minds? I checked On Demand and see that episode 6 of Brilliant Minds did in fact air on October 27 after all, but it was not recorded. Is this because City TV had it mislabeled as Hudson & Rex so the PVR did not pick it up? Please correct this Guide error so that the PVR can record episodes. I am trying to change the SSID and password of my TELUS Boost WiFi 7 -I was able to get pass NAH and saw Boost 7 under connected devices. But when I attempted to login using the ip address shown under boost 192.168.1.254 I only get an error something isnt right. I already tried different browsers and Incognito but to no avail. Is this a work in progress thing or is there a roadmap to access Boost WiFi 7 GUI? New Telus internet & TV customer here in Ontario. I just got Telus TV added to my internet today. I have no receiver, I'm just using the TELUS TV+ app on my Apple TVs and iPhone. However, some channels are unavailable (crossed out house logo in EPG) and "In Home Status" in the settings on my Apple TVs show as 'Not connected at home'. Yet, these same channels all work fine in a web browser on my computer (telustvplus.com) which shows in the settings as 'Connected at home'. I have a couple of Telus TV Android boxes. One of them stopped working, just won't turn on. After googling I found the issue was likely the power cable. I tested it by swapping it for the power adapter on our other box and it works. Saw a reddit post that said you can arrange to have a new power adapter mailed out. One of the recent updates has a serious defect when playing back recordings on the TELUSTV-21T android box. If a network issue occurs during a current recording (i.e. you are watching a recording that is still actively recording), a network glitch will cause the recording to jump to a live stream. The behaviour should be to continue from the point of the recording playback before the network glitch occured. This occurred twice when watching the active 4K recording of Game 7. I was enjoying the game, Toronto was up 3-1 in the 4th and ... the screen goes back with a spinning green circle in the lower right of the screen - after, maybe 15-20 secs, the screen comes back on but it's live streaming the recording now! The 8th inning and the score is 4-3! What the ...! I backed up the recording to watch the skipped innings, when after some time, it occurred again: black screen with green circle and then when it comes back, it's live streaming again, now it's the 9th inning and its 4-4! Please fix this defect - it's ruining sports recordings. Especially 4K where network capacity may be stressed. I've seen other reports logged in these forums showing this happening to other customers. The source of this issue was obvious with this specifiic recording - the developers need to include tests using a network emulator to inject network failures (packet loss, delays, duplication, etc.). But first off, someone in development (BA) needs to define what the behaviour needs to be when the network glitches: which is obvious to continue the recording from the point before the network issue!Grimmt19 hours agoAmbassador51Views0likes3CommentsOptik TV won't tape series
I had set Law & Order to tape as a series, I somehow deleted the series and now it won't tape. How do I fix this? I can tape it each week, but when I set it to series tape the red dots disappear and it will not record I have tried different channels, different times. New Telus customer here with Telus internet over Bell-owned fibre in Toronto. I just called and added 'Optik TV Core' to my plan so that I can stream live TV through the Telus TV+ app on my Apple TV. I also purchased the 'Sportsnet & Beyond' theme pack. However...noticably absent is TSN. Despite it being mentioned in the channel guide, on numerous Google searches...there seems to be NO way to add the TSN channels anywhere. Is TSN simply unavailable on Optik TV in Eastern Canada?
