Guide is not working properly - blank channels
On top of My Favorites not working, in the last couple of month, when using the Guide, the channels are blank. I scroll through and there is no program titles showing. I have to scroll back in time and it kicks in.dm637 hours agoFriendly Neighbour58Views0likes7CommentsI just want to use my own router but I have optik TV and a boost in the way.
SO here goes... I have1 gig telus fibre internet and optik TV. The Fibre comes into my ground floor garage to an ONT that pipes it through Coax to my second floor (No, I cant run network cable to my second floor). At my home theatre the coax screws in to a (Moca?)in my telus Boost. From the Telus boost I have a cat6 to a switch where I have EVERYTHING I run in my house connected from a Linksys Wifi router and mesh system and various other devices and a couple rooms that are hard wired and one more cat 6 going to my optik cable PVR. I do not use the telus wifi from the boost at all. Here's my issue. How do I eliminate that boost without losing my optik cable TV? Can I bridge the ONT and still have my optik cable working? Does the boost cause problems being the only way I can connect the Coaxial cable coming from my ONT? I'm running into problems with what I think is a double nat situation. I know enough to know two routers cause problems but not enough to fix it. I just want an internet signal going into my own linkys router system with no telus equipment getting in the way but I unfortunately need that Telus Optik cable to work too. What can I do? My Linksys system covers a very large house and I need it.Hawkboy7110 hours agoJust Moved In37Views0likes2CommentsConnecting Arcadyan PRV65B to TP-Link Deco AX3000 X50
Hi all, I’m setting up my Telus Arcadyan PRV65B Wi-Fi hub with my Deco X50 mesh. With bridge mode off, the Deco works perfectly, I get strong, fast wifi throughout the house. I want the Deco to manage routing, so I switch the Arcadyan to full bridge mode. When I do, wifi drops completely on the Deco: the light flashes blue and yellow during setup but ends up solid red. I’ve set VLAN ID 35, priority 0, and tried cloning the Arcadyan’s MAC to the Deco. My in-wall Ethernet ports work fine. Tried power cycling and hard resetting both. Tried wiring the Deco into all 4 ports. The top light on the Arcadyan (Wi-Fi) is red, but the front internet light is green so bridge mode to be works correctly. I can attest to this as my smartTV is hardwired and connected with no issue. What am I missing, and how can I get the Deco to handle routing correctly to get the wifi working?11Views0likes1CommentTelus Boost Wifi 6 as Mesh
I have a Telus Boost Wifi 6 as part of our plan, the first booster is connected to the NAH in the living room, however my dad wants to use the 2nd booster as mesh to put it on the basement. Is it possible to use the Telus Boost Wifi 6 as Mesh or we have to buy the Telus Boost Wifi 6 Lite (B6L) as extender?peche12 hours agoJust Moved In15Views0likes1CommentContract without consent. Sounds illegal
When your bill keeps going up $10 every single month, so you call in to ask wtf? The representative says they can give you a promotion to reduce your bill, but instead sign you up for a 2 year contract without your consent. The man said your bill is going to be $145 per month with the promotions added. That’s great because somehow my bill randomly worked its way up to $213 for no reason. $10 added every month just because they feel like it. Then you think someone is helping you reduce your bill, you’ve been a loyal client for over 10 years but instead illegally bind a contract without mutual consent. Love the integrity. Because now somehow my bill is $322. Make it make sense, the math is not mathing. I’m sick of calling these people every month. Like wtf is so hard about having a bill not increase every month? It would be a good idea for them to make this right & also teach their employees to not do illegal & criminal things to their clients. Has anyone else had this experience? Did Telus do the right thing? I need them to cancel my TV services with absolutely no cancellation fees OBVIOUSLY because the contract is not valid without mutual consent & make my bill right! It should not be this hard to deal with a company. Do the right thing Telus & stop messing around with my bill every month. I’d like to know how many people are becoming victims of this?34Views0likes3CommentsCould someone from TELUS please confirm that my account has been cancelled.
I spoke to a very helpful fella on the phone and cancelled my account over the weekend. My account is still listed as open and active. I would like someone from TELUS to please confirm to me that my account HAS been cancelled, and since no one seems to respond to me on chat, and I'm not sitting on hold AGAIN, I thought I'd try here.barlovv12 hours agoOrganizer17Views0likes1CommentTelus Home Assistant (Google)
I noticed a few days ago my Google Home account is unlinking from my Telus account. This prevents me from being able to use Telus Home Assistant as it shows in the Google Home app that Telus set top boxes are offline. If I relink the account, it will work for a few hours then unlink again. There have not been any issues with the Alexa app so I am wondering where the issue is. Anyone else experiencing this???SolvedRobbyvanz20 hours agoOrganizer217Views1like23CommentsTelus digital box problem with guide
I am having trouble with both my digital boxes (one replaced recently to see if problem persists-it does). When toggling between time slots on TV guide or returning to TV guide the guide is slow to respond with content. I have connected directly to the router with cat 6 and still the problem persists. I have contacted Telus on numerous occasions to get help to rectify this problem but to no avail. I have gone through the recommended reboot procedures etc.. I believe the problem is with the Telus Digital 21-T android boxes. We did not have this problem before switching to the android boxes. No problem when I use the laptop or phone to access the guide through the Telus tv app. SuggestionsDisgruntled5223 hours agoFriendly Neighbour446Views0likes7CommentsOptik Set Top Box TelusTV21-T - Fail to Complete Boot Up - Power Supply
Box refused to boot up. Created booting cycle with no completion. Compared Box required amperage (1.0A) with Power Supply output. Its maximum (0.36A). Found appropriate 12VDC 1.5A Power Supply. Frustration solved. I am all ready for the failure of my other Optik TelusTV21-T. Time saved: Not communicating with a Bot, Sitting on Hold, Waiting for a Callback that never came....Precious!Horsefly23 hours agoNeighbour886Views1like3Comments
