Why is it that we cannot watch programs such as ‘Finding Your Roots’ on PBS when we have missed the program? It says only US customers can. Yet we pay for the privilege to see these shows to you Telus.

It is very frustrating when we cannot watch missed shows that we are passionate about.... esp on PBS and other US channels

It is up to the individual broadcasters whether or not they offer on demand content to Canadians. If you are on an American broadcaster's website, nearly all of them will be open to US subscribers only. It's the same thing when Americans try access Canadian broadcaster's content.

Telus gives you access to PBS for live broadcasts and recording. Unfortunately PBS generally doesn't have the rights to stream content outside of the US. They have recently added a service to get access to MOST of their content. More info here:
