Telus Mobility Gateway IP Is From England
Hello, I am wondering why my cellular device (iPhone 15 with iOS 18.1.1) is showing me my cellular gateway IP address is located in England? I have no VPN running, and am not connected to WiFi, either. Solely running on Telus Mobility data. I’ve included a screen shot below for clarification. I am concerned about the safety and reliability of my network — and this isn’t really making me feel at ease. Can anyone shine light on this? A quick IP search reveals this IP has nothing to do with Telus.
Poor Service Reception
How can I send information to Telus about poor reception and services? I have visited a store and tried SIM card swap. And I reset network settings on my phone per the agent recommendation but that didn’t solve the problem. We live in the GTA and I’m lucky to get 1-2 bars of service in my home and neighborhood consistently. Please help. I can’t find anything online to solve the issue.Help with poor device.
Ben with Telus for 26 years. Had good and bad phones, survived all. Now, I have a Pixel 8, and the battery does not last six hours with moderate use - emails, random searches and reading news. No videos or social media. Locked with the rest of the contract. Talking to Telus agents is like explaining Norway to a dog, to borrow from Slow Horses. Any suggestions?
