I'm reporting a persistent video quality issue with the TELUS TV+ app (com.telus.stbtvclient version 1.26.4.200) on both my Fire TV device and TELUS TV-24S boxes. For the past month, live TV and recorded shows start with good video quality for about 3 seconds, then become heavily pixelated and stays that way. On April 15, 2026, we called TELUS customer support and completed all recommended troubleshooting steps, including: Video quality set to Automatic (also tried Performance mode) Adjusted resolution settings on both Fire TV and TELUS TV-24S boxes Connected boxes directly with Ethernet cable and verified connection Rebooted modem, Wi-Fi boxes, and all TV devices Cleared app data and cache Uninstalled and reinstalled the TELUS TV+ app Power cycled all devices and checked signal quality Customer service concluded this appeared to be an app issue on the box. Note that the TELUS TV+ app is the ONLY app experiencing pixelation. All other apps (including TSN streaming services) on the same devices play normally with perfect video quality. Our PVR has again stopped recording these scheduled series even though they are set up correctly. They are set up to record First run only and I have verified that even first run are not being recorded. Recently this happened and I deleted all scheduled recordings and then it started working again. Now, a couple of months later they have stopped recording again. I have re-booted / re-set many times. Unplug then wait for a long time and then plug back in. No change. It's a shame that I can only bridge one port or the entire NAH. I've been advised that if the NAH is fully bridged then my legacy PVR/STB will no longer work. Has anyone managed to get the PVR/STB with a fully bridged NAH? If so, what are the details of your setup to get this working? I remember back when I got my PVR/STB many years ago, everything felt snappy. Over time, things seem to slow down. There's lag here and there now with the UI. Anyone else here notice the same thing? Anyone else experiencing pixelating feed during original TV broadcasts and pixelated playback on recordings including audio studder. It's happening with more regularity and in some cases longer duration of late during consecutive mins of a broadcasts and recordings. Been reading all the complaints re the size of the CCs...my problem is I can't figure out how to access them at all. When I use the voice button, it comes up saying that the CCs aren't on this app...what 'app' are they on? We have been seeing and increase in the frequency of our optik tv and our internet connection "freezing" this started several months ago and was happening every two weeks or so. This "freezing" now happens daily, even though i have been restarting and re-initializing the Optik TV boxes at least once per week. The TV boxes are direct Ethernet connections to the Telus modem. Most internet users in the home are wireless but the freezing also occurs on the wired PC(s). We have a doubled ADSL connection as Telus has Zero plans to install Fiber to our neighborhood. Has anyone experienced this and if so, was there a remedy? To date online customer service Techs have not been able to replicate the issue and have only recommended that i periodically restart the modem and set top boxes. When browsing the guide programs that are set to record have a red circle at the end of the timeslot. This is not visible for longer programs like movies and sporting events due to the limited width of the screen. I notice the program title floats in the timeslot as you scroll left and right. Could the recording indicator also float with the title so that it's visible all the time? An alternative is to also highlight the title in red to indicate a program is set to record. Anyone else experiencing a 7+ second lag when changing channels, switching between apps and other such functions.
