Will my OptikTV service break by setting a Static IP for the IPTV Boxes?
I have a Telus T3200M Router/Modem and 2 of the OptikTV boxes in my house. I'm currently trying to clean up my home network by setting static IP addresses for certain devices. I wanted to just check and make sure that if I were to remove the DHCP Reservations in my router for the 2 OptikTV boxes and set them to different IPs that everything would still work as expected. I know that this probably sounds super straight-forward, but I'm just worried that I'll knock out our TV service.Solved4.2KViews0likes2Comments
