I had to recently change out my old PVR for the new cloud based versions. Since making the change I have had nothing but bad experiences using the recording options. Firstly the ability to extend my selected recordings is no longer an option. Which I find very annoying as it was readily and easily available in my previous pvr. The next thing is that I have recorded several shows and they are not viewable as they are pixelated and the sound is not working. There is no excuse for this ? Why is Telus apparently offering less reliable service than before and forcing their customers to use them. I have been a Telus customer for over 20 years and with these changes I am seriously looking for other options as they are no longer providing an adequate service. I recently had 3G internet installed with a new NAH and Boost Wifi7 hub. The hub is connected to the NAH through the 10 Gbps port (or so the installer told me). When I connect by ethernet to the 2.5 Gbps port I am only seeing 1 Gbps speeds. The 10G port on the hub is flashing orange, whereas the 2.5 Gbps and 1 Gbps ports are green. Is being unethical like this really worth the hassle it leads to? This only results in CRTC complaints... Have been trying to get in contact with anyone from telus and it is a big loop online with the ai chatbot trying to set up a callback which fails, no email to contact, only number i can call refer me back to the ai chatbot. I Just want to cancel a dead persons account and even though it is NOT on contract, u keep charging me new fees even though service has been unusued for more than 3 months. I got a Telus TV Digital Box the other day and decided I wanted to mount it behind my TV. So I created and printed a mount for it based on some other designs. It's a nice snug fit with a few variations. I just upgraded from my old PVR Telus box to the new Android TV box. I have had this for just over two weeks. Today when I got home from work I went into my recordings and had every eposode from this season of several shows I added. For example I had every episode from this season of Elsbeth (and several from last season) - and the dates went all the way back to to when the epsiode originally aired - it said it recorded episode 1 on October 12th - weeks and weeks before I had my digital box? I cleared out all those, and now tonight it started to record Matlock...twice...at the same time. It said one was being recorded off channel 255, and one had no channel listed. If I look at what is scheduled to be recorded I can see the same thing, but not on all my recordings, only certain ones. On Saturday it is going to record SNL twice at the same time, once it shows the channel 260, and the duplicate had no channel.
