I recently purchased Stream+ on the Telus app. It was a huge pain, but I managed to activate the Netflix, Prime, and Telus TV+ accounts, but I haven’t been able to activate Disney+. I contacted Telus and they told me the issue was with Disney+ and to contact their support instead. So I did, and Disney+ Support and they told me it wasn’t on their end, and suggested I went to a Telus store to have them help activate the account. I just went to a Telus store today and they told me they couldn’t do anything, and to contact Telus Support. Hi, I originally was subscribing to disney+ through TELUS and then I saw a promo on the stream+ bundle. I ended by disney+ subscription and then signed up for the bundle, there was a bit of a overlap between when my disney+ account expired and when the bundle started but I figured I could just activate the disney portion of the bundle after. Except now that I am trying to activate it, the "activate" button in mytelus for disney just does nothing (I also never received an email), like no error or anything, just nothing. I've tried multiple computers, browsers, on my phone and clearing my cache and cookies. I've reached out to TELUS multiple times with no luck and even the subscriptions team however they keep sending me to disney for help. I've talked to 4 separate disney agents all telling me it has to be something on the TELUS end as they don't see anything on their side. TELUS keeps telling me the opposite and giving me a reference number for a case at Disney which Disney keeps saying doesn't exist. Anyone else experienced this? I don't want to cancel the stream+ bundle as it has discounts on it which I don't want to loose but I've been going back and forth with TELUS and Disney for over a week.Solved156Views0likes4CommentsI am unable to cancel my Disney+ subscription.
In January 2025, I tried to cancel a Disney+ subscription. When I tried to cancel though My Telus, the website would not allow me to . I sent an email to the Telus Problem desk which offered a 3 day response promise, I did not receive a response. I phoned twice hrough tech service and was transferred to someone who assured me that the cancellation would be implemented. I just noticed that I have been charged for the last 7 months on my credit card for a service I don't want, nor have I used it. I've been having this issue for several weeks, when I try to go to the subscription page to manage my subscription I get the error 'Sorry, your subscriptions list is not available at this time. Please try again or check back later' but I have been receiving emails to activate the subscription and I see it on my overview page. I've tried with multiple devices and on both wifi and data and get the same error. I've called into customer service but they were not able to resolve the issue and recommended I fill out the support form (which I have done multiple times and have never gotten a response to...). I accidently activated it on an older account and would like to disconnect Stream+ from this old account and activate on a different account. I signed up for Telus Mobility, and was offered 24 months of free Disney+ subscription. Appently it is only the Disney+ Standard tier ($11.99/month), not Disney+Premium (14.99/month). I would like the Premium suscription, and I am willing to pay the $3/month difference. If I sign up for Premium, will I still receive the 11.99 as a credit on my monthly bill?
