Has anyone had an issue where even after resetting the Router using the pinhole to reset their Router been unable to log into the Gateway portal? I'm trying to access 192.168.1.254 When I try using my admin credentials there it says incorrect password. I reset it, using the default password on the router + New password Says default password is incorrect. However when i attempt to log into boost 2.0 at 192.168.1.65 using the same credentials it works fine, the only issue is that the page is so broken that it asks you to reset the password, and then logs you out no matter which option you choose. OH and to make matters even more confusing when i try to the option to reset the password (After im logged in) it says the default password is incorrect? I'm not sure what telus has done to their router gateway portal, but it's such a trash system now that this alone is making me want to switch ISP's20Views0likes2CommentsHow do I order a wifi pod?
I've tried messenger - they directed me to customer service. I've tried chat - unable to help me. I've been on hold / passed from department to department for coming up on 2 hours. I just want to add wifi extenders / pods to my service. Shouldn't be that difficult.63Views0likes3CommentsSetup Boost Wifi 6 Lite as an access point to extend existing LAN?
Hey all, got fibre installed 10 days ago and finally getting to cleaning up what the tech left me with. He was great, but custom lan setups aren't his job. Currently my NAH connects to my router (Asus RT-AC86U) that is aptly handling all my family's routing needs, including 2 Telus TV Digital Boxes over ethernet. Documentation (online or otherwise) is quite light as I suspect Telus wants it to be the centre of the universe and not really tinkered with by most users. Can I just factory reset it, connect it to a Lan port on my existing router, and it will figure out that I want it to be another AP to extend my existing SSIDs? Hi all, I’m setting up my Telus Arcadyan PRV65B Wi-Fi hub with my Deco X50 mesh. With bridge mode off, the Deco works perfectly, I get strong, fast wifi throughout the house. I want the Deco to manage routing, so I switch the Arcadyan to full bridge mode. When I do, wifi drops completely on the Deco: the light flashes blue and yellow during setup but ends up solid red. I’ve set VLAN ID 35, priority 0, and tried cloning the Arcadyan’s MAC to the Deco. My in-wall Ethernet ports work fine. Tried power cycling and hard resetting both. Tried wiring the Deco into all 4 ports. The top light on the Arcadyan (Wi-Fi) is red, but the front internet light is green so bridge mode to be works correctly. I can attest to this as my smartTV is hardwired and connected with no issue. What am I missing, and how can I get the Deco to handle routing correctly to get the wifi working?108Views0likes2CommentsLatency/Packet Loss to Access Hub / Router
Hi all I have Telus fiber and it has been pretty much fine for ~1 year, but getting connection issues today. Figured I would ask the community before reaching out to CS, have seen lots of helpful posts. I have the white square Network Access Hub (NH20A) as well as the small Boost 2 router(?), and have been getting huge latency spikes and packet loss basically leading to a complete disconnect for ~1 minute. My wifi connection to the router remains at full strength. An example of this happening below, with charts showing constantly pinging the Network Access Hub and the Boost 2: Access Hub: latency up to 2650ms with 100% packet loss for 1-2 minutes Router: latency up to 520ms with 100% packet loss I've tried restarting both -- any other ideas before I reach out to CS? Has anyone in the lower mainland bc had an issue with telus wifi being intermittent. It sometimes disconnects for more than ten minutes at a time and stays this way back and forth for more than an hour. What was your solution? The agent came by and replaced all the modems and boosts. Asked me to go buy a new router and I am still having an issue. Is this a setup issue? we have not had problems in the past and these last two weeks it’s been horrible connections. nothing changed in our end. We work from home so we looking for any advice. the agent mentioned maybe replacing outside fibre at our cost not even sure what that means.167Views0likes8CommentsTelus Connect App troubleshooting
I have a wifi smart hub need to boost the signal to reach my Telus cameras. Telus sold me the cameras and a booster but after multiple long phone calls I was told they no longer sell boosters. So I have cameras that don’t work. I found a Telus wifi starter pack on FB marketplace but can’t get the Connect app to recognize that the first booster has a solid blue light. I’ve reset both the hub & booster, deleted & reinstalled the Connect app and still won’t work. Are these obsolete?50Views0likes0CommentsRX errors on Boost
Helllo! I'm connecting my Boost (Boost2.0-85ea )to the home router (NH20T) with a Cat 6 patch cable and getting a 2500Mbps connection speed. I am experiencing intermittent slow wifi speeds - 120-150 down from a few test devices. looking at the router, I see 600 rx errors on the port. I power cycled both devices and the router reset, but already starting to see rx errors.I have replaced the ethernet cable already. Are the rx errors normal? I'm looking to eliminate that as a source of the problem. thank you!38Views0likes0CommentsInternet stops working every 10 hours
It has been happening for 3 days now, I've already had my booster replaced and it didn't fix it. Every 10 hours the internet stops working and I have to reboot the modem in order for it to work later. I need help with this, support isn't giving me a reason or an actual solution for this issue. Several people are having the same problem with no reason or solution.6.5KViews1like14Comments
