5 TopicsManaging Third-Party Application Purchases
Third-party vendors provide customers with a method to download pay-per-use applications and Web-based services (i.e. Mobile Dating and Social Networking sites) and pay for the chargeable content by having the charges applied to their TELUS invoice. How it works Order wireless applications directly from a vendor’s site. Downloads are charged to your TELUS invoice as an application purchase instead of having to use a credit card or PayPal payment process. You have a simpler way to find, order, and pay for wireless applications. If you never subscribed to a service If you think that these charges are invalid, you will need to contact the vendor directly to dispute the charges. If you’re not sure who the vendor is, ask us here and we will let you know. How to disable in-app purchases - Apple (App Store) Go to Settings. Tap on General. Scroll to and tap on Restrictions. Tap Enable Restrictions. Set a passcode. In the Allowed Content section, slide the In-app Purchases slider off. This will prevent any in-app purchases from being made without the passcode. How to disable in-app purchases - Android (Google Play) From the Google Play Store app, select Menu. Select Settings. Scroll to User Controls and tap the box next to Use password to restrict purchases. Confirm your Google password. Now your password will be required for all in-app purchases. Ever since joining Telus a few months ago I have been having trouble with certain apps and websites not accurately getting my location (Toronto, Ontario). Some apps have no problem seeing exactly where I am when I am on mobile network while others sense that I am in Quebec and load in french. When I am at home and connected to my home network it all works fine so I do not think its an issue with my phone (iphone 15 pro max), although I have tried resetting all of my location settings to fix the problem. Anyone have any idea how to fix this?997Views0likes2CommentsGoogle Play Store and Downloading Apps
When I go into Google Play Store, I can only use the search to try to find new apps, and none of the ones I am searching for are found, always says no results. I’ve tried Amazon music, Britbox… I do have a google account so unsure why this isn’t working. Any advice or support would be appreciated!Solved4.5KViews0likes2Comments
