Hello, Where do I make the change for the DNS address in my router? I see an option to change it in the LAN and WAN IP settings under the advanced tab. My router is a T3200M. What is the difference between the two options? Thanks kindly.
The Lennox things are probably setup for DHCP. When they talk to each other, they need static IP addresses otherwise they don't know who to reference if their IP address is changing along with other devices on your network. All in theory of course
Yeah I changed the DNS on my PC first. It was maybe a hair faster than telus DNS. Was just curious where to change on the router to apply to all devices.
Found out it was the Telus cable box that was slowing the speed down to 100 Mps. I was thinking about getting the wifi boosters and putting the TVs on the wireless then using hardline Gb speed for the computer (TV computer for streaming Netflix etc)...
