Previously installed motion sensor in condo.

Just Moved In

There was is 1 motion sensor(I believe it is a motion sensor) in my apartment when my boyfriend bought his apartment. How do we know it is not enabled or has a possible hidden camera? I've had a feeling for awhile that we are being monitored. We had a flood and was away from our home for almost 4 months. It almost took a year to get one of our sets of keys back from one of the "contractors" after we threatened to charge him for the keys. Came to find out he is being investigated by his employer. Also some of the "condo board" and management seem quite shady, haven't felt very comfortable since returning.
