'Opt-out' tool broken?

Hello! I am trying to opt-out of the invasive data-analytics program that I did not sign up for.

I entered my number and the service responded with

"This is a free message from TELUS. Please confirm you have requested to opt-out by replying "YES". If you did not request an opt-out, please ignore this message"

 

So I responded with "YES". And I get a 'Send Failed' error. The confirmation process is not letting me confirm the opt-out. Is there a way to confirm I have been successfully removed from your database?

Just tried it and processed without issue

Whoops wrong button. I tried again and same error "send failed". perhaps it needs time to go through? Does this apply to all customers or only telus customers? The article implies that it applies to all.
