how do you use the CTV app with the PIK box

First off new upgrade is terrible.  Nothing but trouble since it rolled out

Constantly resetting box helps sometimes

Can we use the CTV app with the PIK box?

When I try to login in just keeps taking me to Optik Login.  But i dont have Optik

Is there a different way to login?

Only Optik currently has the ability to log in to the various broadcasters apps. Your Pik TV login will not work. I did hear that Telus is looking into getting that fixed but no official announcement yet.

Other than what Nighthawk responded - are there other specific issues that I can try and help resolve related to the upgrade?

We are having lots of difficulty with the Pik tv. We have had it for a few years now. Only previous issue was it was slow
With the upgrade we have to reset the box & our modem multiple times a day. Some channels say we are not on wifi so it won’t work specifically 121 but there are others as well that are locked out.

Try disconnecting from wifi on the Pik box and then rebooting - this has worked for a few other neighbours. See the post here.
