That's right @NFtoBC, Pik TV is available to any TELUS Internet customer in BC / AB so long as they qualify for at least 15Mbs speed and are in Optik TV service area.

Thanks!

This Neighbourhood is inhabited by customers, just like you. We have no insight to Telus business plans, and no connection to the internal workings of Telus. We volunteer to share knowledge about Telus products and services which we have gained by experience or surmise. We are free to express our own opinions and comments, which may not always be in agreement with the ideals of Telus.

As there are no published or shared roll-out dates,  my guess, based on the current availability, is Telus is testing small areas with either Fibre or copper to see how well it is received, and how well it works once in broad use. Since there are no real restrictions to location of this product as long as there is the backbone to carry traffic volume, it should not be very long  before it is more widely available.

Thanks. I hope it is not too long before it is available here. I can use this to put together everything that I need for $40 per month.
I can choose AMC, Showcase, Discovery and 2 more for $20. Global, CTV, City are include in basics...so technically free. HBO and Crave for another $20... and I am done.

Hello,

I recently checked availability on a condo I am thinking of buying in Fort McMurray AB which is capable of getting Internet 15.  It said Pik TV wasn't available when I typed in the address.

DOES the condo have Telus services?  I have seen situations where the condo assn specifies one provider over another, and residents can't always access the services they want.  Make sure the services are available before you plunk down your money - a call to Telus might be in order.
