Anyone else notice these PikTV boxes give off quite a bit of heat even while in standby/OFF?

Curious what their power consumption is...thinking I might start unplugging mine when not in use.

I have a contactless thermometer.  The PikTV box shows around 37C.  The wall brick is about 32C.  Checking my TV, laptop and brick... it appears other devices are also around between 30 and 40C.  Not sure what is considered high. I would not be concerned.

I have a BC Hydro meter.  I unplugged the PikTV box and plugged it back in.  It appears to be consuming 0.02kW.  It estimates 0.2 cents per hour or $1.40 per month.

My estimates are best guesses.... not official.

I haven't noticed that with mine. I do have a power meter so I can test what the usage is. I can't imagine it being very much.
