PikTV Box after Cancellation

Hi Everyone, Can anyone confirm if it's not necessary to return the PikTV box after cancellation of services from Telus?

When you purchased PikTV you own the device outright. You can continue to use it for netfix, YouTube or any apps/games. Or can sell it if you no longer want it.
