Since the billing account is used to log in to the Pik TV app, how is the identity stored at rest on the device? I noticed that once you login, you stay logged in.
My concern is the use of a billing account which is connected to confidential PI data such as billing address, home address, phone number, mobile number, etc. If a device with the Pik TV app is lost or stolen (which can consist of many in a family), has the app been architected in a way that would mitigate this risk?
Additional clarification: PI data isn't in the Pik TV app itself. But lets say your device gets stolen, are the credentials stored as a token or in clear text? Or better yet, have different identities set up for billing vs everyday use of Telus services.
