The 4 digit codes are common for the old remotes. The new ones have a separate list here >> http://www.telus.com/content/help/common/pdf/slimline_remote_control/4_digit_Code_List.pdf
Whether or not the codes will work, you'll have to try them to find out. Should be the same process as the 2 digit codes.

thanks, it is a new one.. but when i try to put in those codes it blinks after the first 2 and dont' work, which makes me think there's a different process for entering them. i'll try again though..

Hey,
If you call tech support (18773108324) they have a list of 4 digit codes they can try with you, if unfortunately those codes don't work then your tv might just not be compatible with the Telus universal remote.
Hope this helps you!

Try the following: http://static.telus.com/common/cms/files/get-help/programming_instructions_for_your_tv.pdf
Use the Other *29 code.

The instructions that come with my Slimline remote has TV codes for most popular TV's but they are "2" digit codes.
I tried several 4 digits codes (I found in my online search) which didn't work, so I followed the instructions that came with my remote and entered "29" for TV's not listed. However, when you press the off button you have to keep it pressed (a little hard on the thumb). In my case it was a good five minutes before the remote found the TV code that worked and the TV shut off. As long as the red light beside "TV" keeps flashing, the remote is searching for a usable code and when the code is found the TV shuts off and you can let go of the on/off button on the remote. Then you press OK and the Telus Slimline remote works for the TV also.
