My optik tv/pvr keeps failing to record or will stop recording partway through a show. I get a message 'recording not available. Make sure the digital box and the pvr are connected to the network.' i have rebooted everything several times and it continues to happen. HELP! its driving me nuts... will be ok for a few days then happens again

Yikes! Very sorry about that. I myself get that error from time to time and usually a full reboot of everything does the trick. Basically, unplug the power cord from the back of your PVR, then unplug the power cord from the back of your actual main internet modem, wait about 30 seconds, then go back in reverse order. Plug the modem power cord back in, then back to your PVR to plug that power cord in.
This usually does the trick but if it doesn't, your best bet may be to reach out to our Tech Support team directly at 1-888-811-2323 so they can connect to it through the network for troubleshooting!
