noticed tonight when I hit record upstairs it turned off grandma's show downstairs. (have 3+1) didn't notice another recording was on. always thought it would give me a warning but it didn't. is there a setting I can change so it will give a warning?
If indeed this failed to occur, my suggestion would be to recreate the error to see if this was a one time issue or going to persist. Have not seen any outages on this.
Start up 3 recordings in HD and one in SD. Attempt to record a 4th in HD, and check what occurs. If it fails to work correctly and provide a conflict screen, please use our chat, and we can check on the devices and get this working. http://www.telus.com/chat
OK thanks, I will create that incase I missed it. at the time it was recording 1hd,watching 2 and I started recording another hd. maybe I just missed the message? grandma came up and said hers stopped. it had message that couldn't be watched because other feeds. I'll try again to see
It feels like the Live HD feed was changed, not a recording stopped. If she was watching and not recording, it will not provide the same error. That will remove the feed with out you being advised. She will get an error advising all feed in use.
