Will Fox Sports be available on Optik when it comes on line? It would be nice to get MotoGP again.

If you mean Fox Sports 1, it will not be coming to Canada thanks to the CRTC and Fox.

See my previous answer. Fox has no interest in bringing it to Canada. The CRTC will not approve the channel. Therefore no Canadian carrier will be able to offer it. That includes Telus.

Shaw and Rogers have Fox Sports Racing channel,  has nothing to do with CRTC.  Why cant Telus get the channels Shaw and Rogers get ??  ( Fox Sports Racing carries the Fox Sports 1 programming )

Rogers rebranded the Speed Channel as Fox Sports Racing. Odds are Rogers/Shaw has some special contract with Fox. I know the Speed channel was axed because they demanded insane things to renew the contract. Also the low demand for the channel didn't help. If you really want it, send an email to tvfeedback@telus.com requesting the channel. Also get as many people as you can to also come request it. Failing that, it won't happen.

Shaw isn't carrying Fox Sports Racing. They're to cheap to pay to carry the channel. Instead they give some excuse that they can't get it.  There was a forum thread 60+pages they closed down on the complaints.

Shaw is good at taking away and charging more. Like another price increase 6 months from the last one.

All comes down to carriage fees. Fox re branded Speed as Fox Sports Racing not Rogers FWIW.
