Did you mean:

connected to a different Actiontec v1000h??

Hi, should I be concerned about this.

On the sticker on the back of the modem the mac address listed is xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:09

& same with the front page of the site to log into.

But when looking through my firewall logs & as well as "arp -a" it says that I am connecting to
a device with the same mac address only it ends with an "08"

So I'm connected to a device with this mac address  xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:08

I've looked everywhere on the modem page and can not find this mac address anywhere.

I've looked on the inside of the modem through the holes and can not find it anywhere

Even the wireless card? that is inside the modem is a different address from both of them. Which is nowhere to be seen on the modem page as well.

Jut wondering what the deal is with this?

On both wired & wireless devices Im connectd to this "08" device 😕

The Actiontec usually has 3 MAC addresses. The one on the sticker is likely the WAN address. The LAN and WIFI addresses will be close in most cases to the WAN one.
