If you a channel in a package and Telus changes the package content. They will charge you $4 or $5 to get the channels back you had before that are no longer in the package. The channels should be grandfathered. The recent CRTC ruling on telcom providers providing consumer's choices has been manipulated to cause concern for users so more profit for Telus?
As far as I know, the packages are grandfathered. If you make a change, you lose the old package.
BTW, at the time the government mandated more channel selection, it was stated it was about choice, not necessarily savings.
