We just moved residences and brought along our two boxes: an UIW8001 and a UIW4001. We previously both had the two boxes wirelessly connected at our previous address.
During install at our new address, the technician told us the UIW 8001 (PVR) box needs to be hardwired, so did the customer service rep on the phone. The box can clearly be wireless as the manufacturers manual identifies so and we had previously wirelessly connected it.
We dont have a 4k television and are not concerned about the "quality". I cant remember how we had connected it before. I believe some home via pairing.
Has anyone gone through this and connected their UIW8001 box wirelessly?
