Looking for ideas on what the settings in my LG TV should be to fix the issue of the Telus digital TV box image not working.
Telus Tech said there are common issues with LG TVs not being compatible with other devices (however the Xbox works great) and that settings need to be change so the TV box will be compatible - he didn't change or tell me what settings to put the TV too.
Since the Tech said this is a common issue, how have others solved it?

Can you provide details as to what the exact problem is? The set top box connects with standard HDMI so there shouldn't be any issues as long as the TV can see and be switched to that input.

The issue is the image does not come up only on the LG tv so the telus tech left yesterday saying its the TV and digital box compatibility issue - told me maybe there is something in the settings that can fix this but that he cannot help. Image is not produced through HDMI - yet input and HDMI works with every other device.

I had video issues with my Sony TV and Yamaha receiver. I would get sound but no picture from the Optik box. In my case I had to change a setting on my receiver to use HDCP 1.4 instead of Auto (all HDMI goes through my receiver). Possibly there is a similar setting for your TV?
