When will this be available in Surrey bc? Or in general #bc?

Perhaps a bit inappropriate Mr. Nighthawk, no need to be snarky if you do not know the answer. Just because Sprtsnet has a 4K program does not mean TELUS is obligated to carry it everywhere and in Surrey specifically. Sometimes, it is better just to say nothing at all.

Sportsnet does not have a Pacific 4K feed. Cafekief is already aware of the existing national feed as he has asked about it more than once in the past. Sportsnet is focusing on Toronto specific content since that's where Rogers/Sportsnet is based and decided to do it.

The recommendation to watch for new information on Google is valid because IF Sportsnet ever decides to move out west, where Rogers doesn't really do anything except buy naming rights for arenas and will have to use other providers fibre networks to get the data down east, that'll be the first place new information will appear for any pacific based 4K feed in advance of it being available to watch. The first place to get any news on future channel availability will be from the channel themselves. They'll usually announce it far in advance of when they'll eventually make it available to the various providers to offer to their customers.

This also has nothing to do with Surrey in any context. If a channel is available from a national network like Sportsnet, it'll be available in all areas Telus serves.

@Skiddy - Since your post did not have a question, do you have any at this time?

No questions at this time, thank you. Your response to the OP was just fine, except for, IMO, the comment "Was that so hard"? Otherwise your info was right on the mark. Not so much what you said as how you said it. Please appreciate that I have no knowledge of any other communications from the OP - seemed like a valid question to me. I'm sure we are all great full for your response, Thanks again.
