Some devices can access Recorded programs, some can't.

I can watch recorded programs on my Android phone and through a browser at work. I have a Shaw connection at work.

My wife is travelling in BC right now, and she cannot watch recorded programs on iOS, Android, or through a browser. There is no Play button on any of the programs.

Is there something I need to do on the PVT itself it enable her devices? I looked through the menus but didn't find anything.

Does it matter which account you login with? Telus.com v. the Optik account on the PVR?

As I mentioned in the other discussion you were posting in, no one can watch PVR recordings on devices other than the set top boxes. That feature is not in place currently. Users however can access recorded shows on their cell/tablet/computer if the title is available as Video On Demand or through Crave (if subscribed). Some titles not available on VOD will not have a Play button on them.

There are no settings on the PVR or anywhere else that will control access to the content. The account may make a difference. I've only logged into the app with my Optik account and not the Telus one.

I can watch recorded programs.

If fact, just to be certain, I checked again, and I am doing it right now.

Would you like to tell me again that the thing I can currently doing can't be done?

The screen  capture indicates you are watching an on demand video, not something recorded on your pvr.

Clearly, the thing you are doing can be done, but what you are doing is watching a video from htt ps://onthego.telus.com/#play/vod, not your PVR. The VOD portion means Video on Demand. I expect if you were to watch both though, you might find advertising on the PVR version, but not on the VOD version.

@aguycalled80  Look really closely at the listings. There is a little white VOD icon beneath them. You're watching VOD, not content from the PVR itself.

Yup! On Global, and VOD. Since I have not recorded the series pressing 'Play Now' starts the video, just like it does for you.
