I havn't even had Telus TV for a year yet and my remote broke. I called to have it replaced as it is under warrenty and they said sure they will replace it if I pay the shipping fee. My friend had the same problem and they just sent her a new remote (twice), no payment required. Considering the remote hasn't even lasted me a year, I'm thinking it might be a better idea to invest in a more reliable universal remote that I don't have to replace on a regular basis. Anyone else have to pay shipping fees everytime they need a new remote??

My experience is that Universal remotes don't do it all, and at times the original remote is needed.
It has been a long time since I needed a remote replaced. I recall going through a number of steps with the CSR, to show it no longer worked properly, so a replacement was sent me. I don't recall if a shipping charge was assessed at the time.

Hi, there are no charges for replacement devices. You simply need to reach out to TELUS.
