Why do I need to reboot my AP and re-pair my optic TV wireless box EVERY TIME I want to watch TV? (And about every hour or two while I'm watching)

As you would expect, the answer is you shouldn't have to. You'll want to call Telus, if you haven't already. I suspect it's either an issue with your box or the AP.
