New Cable Outlet?

Hi! I'm in Alberta and wondering if TELUS will come out to install a new cable outlet? And what is the charge for that? We have an outlet in our living room right now, but want one on another wall. Thanks!

Do you mean cable (coax) as used for satellite service, or ethernet, as used for Optik?

Telus will install additional outlets at considerable cost. It might be simpler and cheaper to have a local electrician or computer installer to add the additional wiring, and either ask them to make the switch over, or invite the Telus installer to complete the final connection.

I installed my ethernet cable myself, and Telus simply connected their equipment to it.

Also, you could leave the PVR where it is, an add a wireless TV box to the mix.

I mean Ethernet I guess as, as we have Optik TV. 🙂

Love my wireless cable box.  I can three wireless TV's around the house for viewing convenience.
