New 4k box recordings unavailable

Just got new boxes and now saying make sure the digital box and Pvr are connected to the network. Have tried unplugging modem and box but nothing seems to work. Have one digital box that telus was unable to connect red authorization code tried for 3+ hours wondering if has anything to do with my problem

Do you mean recordings made previous to you acquiring the new 4K boxes?  Old recordings are likely not available, as the ID of the box has changed.

No like cannot record new shows. I understand that all previous shows are gone. Just does not record anything now just says unavailable and that they are not connected apparently. But all channels work so doesn't that mean they are connected to the network

And I have 1 box that keeps saying needs activation code. Wont turn on or restart

They are connected to the Telus Actiontec router, not one you purchased separately?

 

If so, you likely need to get Telus to troubleshoot from their end.  All means of contact are listed in the 'Contact Us' section at the bottom of the page. A posting to their Twitter account will likely consume the least time on your part.
