My Optik tv is freezing

The one in my bedroom is fine but living room one is freezing. I was cleaning up cords and unplugged everything but plugged it back in the same spot.

To clarify...

• are these wireless or wired boxes?
• is one box a PVR?
• what happens if you take the two boxes and switch locations?

Had the same a short while ago. Fixed it by clicking on menu-settings-restart system. Suspect this must force the system into checking for updates.

I was wondering if this "restart system" wipes out your recordings.

This sounds like possibly a coaxial issue, if that's the cabling involved to the malfunctioning digital box. I recommend replacing the cabling if possible.
