When you ask it to show you the Tv guide it comes to the tv box search screen and then nothing after that

Do not use the command "show XYZ". Google assistant interprets the keyword "show" to mean you want to watch the program called XYZ and does a search on XYZ. Instead use the command "open guide on Optik". Substitute what ever name you designated for your Optik box.
