Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Whether you've been together for two weeks or two decades, we all know that coming up with that awesome (and original) Valentine's Day idea can be almost impossible. It's rarely easy, and even more so during a pandemic...we get it. Now for the good news:

While things may look and feel completely different in 2021, there are still tons of ways to make the day unforgettable. Let's take a look at just a few of the things you can do to show that special someone how much they mean to you (as well as a classic go-to...if you're cutting it too close for comfort, we all know a good movie and bottle of wine is never a bad idea!).

Watch a Romantic Movie

Do I really need to elaborate? It doesn't have to be over the top...a hilarious comedy movie or standup special will work just as well. Stock up on snacks or have your favourite dinner delivered, pop a bottle of wine, and enjoy. Bonus points for putting up a few heart shaped decorations by your TV as well.

Take a Walk or Bike Ride

If it's not too cold out, use the opportunity to take a stroll around your neighbourhood or a nice ride through that nearby park. Be sure to practice social distancing and if your goal is to grab a treat on the way home, be sure to check in advance to make sure their safety protocols are in place!

Take a Virtual Cocktail Class

Easily found online, there are a ton of virtual classes you can track down to try your hand at mixing that perfect cocktail. Live classes on Zoom are all the rage, too! Even better, when you're all finished you'll have a great drink to kick back for that movie (see above!).

Make Breakfast in Bed

The ultimate sweet something for your sweet someone? Think pancakes, cookies, and mini doughnuts. If you're a whiz in the kitchen, then you probably already know the amount of bonus points you can score for pulling this power move. Is it ever really too early for a mimosa?

TELUS On Demand has countless romantic movies and comedies to make your night one to remember. Don’t forget Netflix and Amazon Prime Video as well! Have any last minute ideas to share on how to make the night one to remember? Let us know in the comments!
