premium messages - how do I prevent them?

  1. From your mobile device, compose a text message.
  2. In the recipient field, type the number 4444.
  3. In the message body, type the code PMT.
  4. Send the message.
  5. Open the text message reply that you receive.
  6. Click or tap the embedded link.
  7. If prompted, select yes to launch your browser.
  8. The Premium Message Subscriptions pageappears. You can:
    1. Review your subscriptions
    2. Cancel a subscription by clicking or tapping Unsubscribe.
    3. Click or tap Yes to confirm.

You can see a list of your Premium Message Subscriptions and cancel those you no longer wish to receive.

 

OR

 

You can respond to premium messages "STOP" to unsubscribe. You will receive confirmation within 24 hours that you have unsubscribed

I guess it is as simple as not subscribing to them....
