Telus plans terrible

Why are the telus plans so terrible. i ve been with them for over 12 years and they wont even do anything to come close to the competition..

I'm leaving asap.

It really depends on your needs.

If you are referring to the discount carriers....

• they are slowly going out of business if you listen to media reports
• they offer limited coverage in urban centers.  Expect CANADIAN roaming charges once you leave the core
• data is often 2G... not LTE
• many don't invest in repeaters inside buildings and subway tunnels
• go compare the coverage map.  I don't believe in poor coverage

@shotta5you obviously don't know how to ask them nicely. I asked nicely and they matched the $40 deal Fido had. Cut $20/mo off my bill. If you act like a jerk or worse, they won't go out of their way to do something that helps you.
