Weird since TELUS launched its brand new website, I'm having problems to login: Got a Windows 8.1 Pro. Didn't have issues before, could be an incompatibility bug. Before report it to 'Microsoft' wanto heard from forum experts

Hope some of the 'Genius' here can help. When I click the TELUS- Shorcut display this text. 403-Permission denied+ other data, like: Line-5: Char-15: Error: 'google' is undefined: URL :http://www.telus.com. Do you want to continue, running this script [Y/N] wait for answers, don't panic your replies, won't be removed.

Meantime for those, who thought "v9" is gone-thks god! no too fast folks. I had a minor argument, with some, self-entitled contributors, who tried to kickMe out. The issue It's been resolved, I still alive. Hehee! Look forward for replies.  <ReadMe-soon>  "v9"

Internet Exploder?

Turn off  "display notification of every script error"

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/what-do-internet-explorer-script-errors

Internet Exploder has gotten better, but I still don't like it.

Your link to Telus has a period at the end. Firefox is ignoring the period and goes to the proper link anyways as Telus rewrites it to a region web Address. Telus site seems a bit slow to react tonight.

The new Telus pages look all fancy for the button clickers of the World, but they have a few small nagging inconsistencies.

Switch to Firefox. Or chrome or Opera .

https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/

Download link page, to avoid downloading the 'installer version' above. 'English U.S.' is nice and uniform for the Internet at large.

https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/

Add-ons of

Adblock plus

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/adblock-plus/

In the settings is the adblock definitions

HTTPS Everywhere

https://www.eff.org/https-everywhere

There's flashblock addons. Toggle button to turn off Java, JavaScript, images.  Just have to be careful of the bad addons that don't respect privacy of the end users or try to serve ads.

Thks-Nasty for quick reply: First of all go to options and fix the mis-spelling mistake in the word 'Exploder=Explorer" or else "Nighthawk' is going to comes up, with his "Spelling-tool" don't take chances. Hehee! . I'll go over the links provided to fix the issue. I'll report again to he forum about the results.

Regarding to change "Browser" Since I surfing the 'Web' I've been using the "IE" I know the Chrome+Firefox are faster, but My

Anti-virus (Kaspersky Labs) got issues to keep up- with the speed at which (Firefox+Chrome) launchs their updates. Like I said, I'll open all the links provided. Specially the related, with my issue - Flashblock addons - Toggle button to turn off, JavaScripts, images. I'll keep you updated of the solutions tried.. Thanks for help  "v9"

Internet Exploder is what we have called it for years

Caution: This link has poopy mouth words at it.

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=internet%20exploder

Edit... I see Kaspersky has lots of hooks they want to put in the users browser and every browser update Kaspersky has to write a new version. I hate them things. So much bloatware.

In case you have any rotten bugs that Kaspersky missed.

Here a link to MalWarebytes.

http://www.malwarebytes.org/

Click on the free version. Run the 'on demand version'(click no to the free 30 day trial of paid version which always is running). check for updates.  Quick scan.  You can uncheck 'send anonymous usage statistics'.

A nice secondary scanner for when your Internet security suite doesn't security very well.

The Urban dictionary has just about every explantion for every word in life. Some of those explanations, along with the words they define, tend to upset the more delicate people. Its part of life and there are delicate people who try to stomp out life, since free will is an abomination.

Internet Exploder is valid. Internet Exploiter is an acceptable alternative as well. 🙂

You're welcome to join us @-Nighhawk & Dark_night. LetMe tell you that we can have, differences in the content of our 'posts' but personally, I don't hold anything against you guys. Having said that, when it comes to choose the best browser, I stick around with "IE" as a way to be faithful to a woman, Huhuhaa!

According with the latest review of "Tech.Radar.com: www.techradar.com/ : They release this speed chart of scores in [(ms=Abbreviation for miliseconds)(ms=1000 of a second)] Check this out: 1)Safary 197.9 -ms: 2)Opera 174.4-ms: 3)Chrome 165.2-ms: 4)FFox 157.9-ms: 5)IExplorer(Desktop) 94.7-ms: 6)IExplorer(modern)93.1-ms: As you can see 'IE' both, PC+Modern

incarnation isn't just ahead, but ahead by significant amount.

In the field of Add-ons-FFox still has the upperhand its combination of add-ons, Pin tabs for web apps is the favorite for users.

Now best browser for Win 8.0 "IE" wins easily over the other browsers. I'll leave it 'till here, so what's your favorite browser. We can have more than one, haven't we. Have a good night. "v9"

Welcome back v9 🙂

I think that when it comes to browsers, in the end, it's a personal choice. I use Chrome since it's sync with my phone and I keep IE updated but I never use it.

Heres the link to the test you quoted.

http://www.techradar.com/news/software/applications/best-browser-which-should-you-be-using-932466

That article seems to be a possible paid advertisement by Microsoft or at least a Fanboy review.  Theres so many articles out on the Internet on various subjects and you get used to easily seeing what is real(no assumed bias) and whats a fake(paid advertisement).

For some odd reason the writer is using versions of the other browsers that are not 'public release builds'.  You don't take a 'nightly build'(alpha or beta) to test against a current Internet Explorer build, due to the nightly builds still need fine tuning to remove any noticeable bugs.

This comparison article is from mid 2013(with Internet Explorer 10). Lots of charts and test specifications.

It al comes down to Browser preference. I like to be able to fully adjust my browser experience.

Kudos for [(Wally_west ^ Nasty)] for their valuable comments in this topic. @-Nasty as you know my original question, was about a (Java script error) Followed your advice of turn off the option "Display notifications of every script error" in 'IE-settings' and Bingo! the java script error it has stopped thks.

In regards to the 'Tech.Radar link' it opens, but it takes to the <Tech.radar- website-home page> Once there, clicking the 'Tab-Reviews' enable to see any reviews. Your link instead is right on target, takes directly to the "Best browser 2014" I hope this information it's been helpful to some members. Finally I said it my (Java script error) was fixed, so I declared this topic "Closed" - I'll write another one soon.  Bye-Telusters!  "v9"
