at the bottom of this page it has a tutorial button and in that page you click on the button that says phone back up and restore tutorial. It'll walk you through what to do. 

 

As for the $400 screen replacement for Telus vs paying the premium through the 3rd party insurance. That is because the insurance you have been paying for is on your Telus bill but, goes directly to the third party insurance company. It would have started as Esecuritel and is now Asurion. They do not do repairs. They simply replace the phone with a another like device of a refurbished model. The $400 screen replacement is so expensive because the S6, S7 and S8 have the screens that curve over the edge of the phone. If it's just a standard iphone fix or flat screen repair than it's not so pricey. If it was within the first year of your Telus one year warranty if would have been free 🙂 Sorry to hear about your poor Telus store experience 😞
