Welcome to the forum @-Anditslikethat: The faster way to find out a "Postal code" is by clicking this link: http://www.canadapost.ca/. Once logged in click 'Tab' [Find a postal code] +just enter a valid Canadian address and click button [Find Now] or do this.
1) Go to the nearest "Postal office" in your Neighbourhood & ask for the postal code in that area.
2) Ask the "Mailman" about the postal code - When delivering the mail in your place.
3) Are you new in the building. Ask the next door neighbour, about the postal code.
4) If TELUS send written monthly bill, find the postal-code in the envelope.
Finally if still can't get it-Hehee! for inappropriate answers, provide more details
