Just wondering if can keep my 30 year old phone number from my land line to use with a cell phone? I've had it so long and we are planning on moving so I will have to disconnect it but would love to keep the number.
You can check during the activation process if it's eligible to be ported, but here's a tool that may help you. Sometimes it fails to show anything at all but it works better if you put in 2 phone #s at once:
