Your account number is on the bill you have been receiving by mail or email, and on the initial contract you received. Once you have that in hand, you can add services to your on-line 'My Account' by choosing My Profile > Link another account.
Then you will need to call Telus, and the customer service rep will step you through the process.
It is challenging when someone else managed the account on your behalf in the past.
It may be easier if you can obtain the account PIN from your ex.
