How do I figure out how much I would have to pay in order to buy out of my contract??? Can anyone help me out?

Go to your online eBill
Select the Account detail tab to see your current device balance.
This is what you owe for your device. Pay this and whatever monthly plan balance is due you are off your contract.

For starters, look at your account to see any balance on your current phone.
I'm sure things have changed now that contracts are reduced to 2yrs. I recommend you contact Telus Mobility directly to assess your situation.
