Got called from 6479466639 to talk about income tax. I know its a scam but asked what they wanted. He told me he wanted his d#@k in his mouth! Haha... chances aren't good. Can this # get shut down or reported?

The CRA scams have been all over the news for ages. Years even. The scammers often spoof (fake) the number they are calling from so the number that appears may not even be theirs. As a result they are hard to report to law enforcement.

If the calls are "harassing" or "threatening" (probaly not in this situation) you can do a call trace by dialing *57 immediately after you hang up on the call you want to trace. Many people don't know that call trace works even if the calling party has blocked or spoofed their number. More here:  http://www.telus.com/en/bc/support/article/trace-threatening-calls

Read them carefully before just randomly using *57.

Also @Mk4 if the caller is using VoIP, or if a landline and the number behind the spoofed one originates outside of Canada, and typically they will, there is absolutely zero that law enforcement can do to deal with it. In the case of VoIP, odds are they will not be able to trace it at all. Also three successful call traces are needed before law enforcement can act. This is all assuming the scams all originate from the exact same root number. Most scams on this scale won't.

There is a reason these scams keep repeating year after year.
