Pre-authorized payment discount not active ?
Hi there, I've been using Telus for a little bit more than 3 years now with 2 phone plans and 1 home service. Today, I learned about the pre-authorized payment discount that we can get on phone plans (and potentially on the home internet service too ?) and realized that I've never got it. I am paying my bills with the pre-authorized payment from a checking account (not from a credit card), and from the research that I did, it looks like my plan should benefit from that discount. Does anybody know if the EPP Unlimited 25GB 5G is really eligible for that discount ? Is the PureFibre Internet 1.5G plan also eligible for that ? Hello, My $100 annual prepaid plan was automatically renewed on May 23, 2026. When I originally activated this plan, it included a promotional bonus of 2GB of data per month. However, after the renewal, I do not see the 2GB bonus data in my account.Could you please check whether the 2GB monthly bonus data should continue after renewal, and if so, whether it can be restored to my account? Switched to Telus from Rogers a few months ago and am on their business 5G account. Switched cause of the deal I got, but have been finding the LTE/5G to be horrible. I'm in Richmond, but go to Vancouver, Burnaby, Surrey and Coquitlam often. In every city, there are very slow internet even in areas with telus stores the internet is super slow, like Richmond center, aberdeen mall, metrotown, coquitlam mall. I just don't understand it. So kids phone got stolen today at knifepoint and multiple attempts to contact Telus to report the phone as stolen has resulted in nothing but them tying to sell me an Avanti service for $8 to protect the account. This is completely unacceptable at this point and I'm beyond mad that nobody in customer support or at a local store was willing to help. One agent even said I had to go to Apple to report it and hope that they can help. I have since tried to report the IMEI on a separate website for blacklisting phones worldwide but I don't have any hopes that will actually work as it was stupidly easy to do so. Hi, my wife and I both have pixel 8 phones. The reception seems to be poor for a while now. Places that we had full bars now are only showing half. My wife has a home business and her phone won't get reception in her shop now. She switched to an older phone and it's slightly better but still cuts out, echos, and has robotic reception. Other service providers do not have an issue. I am with Telus with 2 lines. At my home address, the network connection is poor. Even though I have enabled the WIFI calling, the calls gets disconnected or the other person can't hear anything. Even on the driveway out side my house same problem. Tried to call TELUS support to escalate and they said the tower is outdated and need to upgraded with the new enhancements. There is no ETA for the update and might take couple of years or no updates. Can someone from TELUS Side will help to look into the issue and resolve.
