iPhone 8Plus not going to receive Canada’s Alert Ready?

I just received a text about this new service but when I clicked the link of eligible devices it did not include iPhone 8 Plus. Is this an oversight in the list or is it not included? Makes no sense to exclude as all other iPhone models for the past number of years appear to be included.
