Hi,
Unfortunately I have come to the end of my contract as of December 1, 2016 and I am looking to change service providers. I have never had to ask for a phone unlock before and am unsure of how to go about doing so. As I said, I have a ZERO device balance currently and my current contract runs out on December 1, 2016. I am unsure of what the cost to do so is despite reading and being told certain amounts that vary. What is the cost incurred to unlock my iPhone 6? Unfortunately, I won't be going with Telus because I feel I don't use my phone enough to merit paying the rates I currently am charged and wish to change to a more cost effective provider with better value.
Please advise 🙂

Pretty sure they charge $50...easiest way would probably be through online chat you'll need to sync with iTunes after to complete the unlock process.
